About Fish and Crowns

Fish and Crowns Worship Band might be small in numbers, but we have a huge heart for worship. Officially formed in 2016, we’ve been playing together since 2012, meeting first in a local church worship team. After moving to different churches, we all decided to continue getting together without much sense of what we planned to do. But we knew we loved playing music together. We started meeting at a church in Clarksburg, WV a few times a month. Over the next few years, we worked on music, made some in house recordings, and began playing events.

In 2021 The church we had been meeting at, Golden Harvest Ministries, was given to Fish and Crowns. At that point, the ideas began to flow. Read more about Fish and Crowns Worship Center here.

Wendy Richards - Bass Guitar/Vocals
Nathaniel Stalnaker - Electric Guitar
Alex Linger - Guitar/Vocals

Fish and Crowns is a contemporary worship band. You’ll hear us play both original music and songs you already know. Our shows are not performances, but rather we strive for genuine worship experiences.
